If you ever thought you would get legs like Elle (Michael Jordan if you're a male) just by sitting at your desk, well, this innovation may be just what you are looking for.

This new eco creation is pushing the limits of retail creativity, but we at ecobites think it is a bit out there and has some merits.

The under desk 'energizer' has at least the ability to work-up a sweat while charging a few batteries at the same time and what is wrong with that.

The photographed 'Energizer' appears to be one on those dodgy Chinese products made from plastics of dubious origins, so whilst if may keep you fit, it may not be good on air quality.

However, the fad seems to be taking off with Gymnasium cardio machines now getting Ipod docks, so why not harvest the excess energy to top up your battery.

Who knows, in the future, these contraptions, along with cardio machines might be hooked up to the electricity grid. Just imagine, thousands of office workers pedalling away while they work. Not as silly as it sounds!
