PETA Supporter Sophie Monk is totally fried after being spied leaving KFC with a feastful of KFC goodies. The so called ozzie vegetarian celebrity was recently photographed leaving a Hollywood KFC by the 'Vegan Police'.

We all know that KFC isn't a vegan's favourite hangout and true, there’s nothing illegal about eating at KFC (although there should be). If the picture of a sheepish Sophie slinking out the door was taken in a Canadian chain that now offer a vegan alternative, maybe it wouldn’t be such a big deal, but this picture was shot in Hollywood, not in Canada.

Hey, us heathy lifestylers all know that American KFC’s aren’t anywhere near vegan and so should Sophie!

Making matters worse for Monk is that she has very publicly spoken out against the KFC fast food chain in the past, saying: “I think the message to KFC eaters [is that] you should think about what you’re eating. If you’re eating deformed animals that are being induced by hormones, you know, it can not be good for you.”

The above comments can be considered rather hypocritical in light of the photos at hand.

Just maybe we aren't considering the true facts here. Let's consider the possibilities:
1. Monk was doing undercover work for PETA.
2. Monk was hoping she would be banned (in light of her recent comments) from buying KFC and this would bring greater publicity to Peta's cause.
3. She was having a bad hair day and inadvertently walked into the wrong fast food outlet.
4. She has an identical twin.
5. She is on hormone replacement therapy.

Ecobites is eagerly waiting for the Monk denial. Some believe it may be a long time coming!
