Half fill a 10 litre bucket loosely with compost and top up with water. Stir the mixture every day and after a week the tea will be ready to use.

Drain off the liquid through a strainer and mix 10 parts water with one part compost tea. Spray on plant leaves, or water around plant roots. The left over solid material can be spread on your garden, or put back in the compost bin.
