The journey begins...

Many years ago when I embraced a healthy lifestyle, I went through many stages of trying all the different theories and diets that abound. I was young and eager to learn. Being part of that generation of post war 'Baby Boomers', I was keen and enthusiastic to transform myself and the world.

I very quickly discovered, that like Newton's second law, for each and every theory, there was an equal and opposing one.

After many years of eating healthy and wholesome foods, I realised in one of those rare and enlightening experiences, I wanted to listen exclusively to my body. I learnt to love and appreciate this wisdom in knowing what was appropriate for me at any particular time.

Maybe it was a signal to me that my biological clock was ticking. Maybe it was a lesson in life that only time helps us discover our inner secrets. At 46 it was turning point - having never fallen pregnant, my body was preparing itself for another journey...I was pregnant for the first time.

Now, two years past, I have a miracle child called Thierry. It is because of this lifechanging experience, I have discovered that health isn't just healthy eating, it is a physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Focussing on any one part will not produce good health.

I welcome visitors to Ecostudio. The website is about bringing together a synergism of ideas and suggestions to not only make our lives healthier, but the world, a better place to live.
