Our purpose at Ecobites, is to create a community where eco conscious minded people can visit, interact and share their interest in all things healthy. We have a passion for the environment and encourage healthy lifestyles - green, eco-friendly and organic living. Ecobites is updated daily/weekly and we encourage new members to join our active forum, create a blog and contribute articles - Lyn
Lynette Stein - CEO
Lyn grew up with the red desert sands between her toes in outback Australia and was most fortunate in having a German Grandmother who instilled "Joie de Vivre", and a love for nature and natural cooking.
After a successful sporting career in athletics, winning many titles including national Lyn escaped for long periods to travel the world and has experienced first hand, the different cultures and lifestyles. It was after a successful career in senior management with a large international corporation that Lyn decided it was time to settle in to a less stressful environment to pursue her lifelong passion. Lyn's main responsibilites at Ecobites is the day-to-day management, the editorial side of things and future development. Being slightly obsessive about all things healthy, Lyn still manages to keep her finger in all areas of the magazine and its growing community. Richard de Largie D'Alton - Editor/Creative Director, writer, video producer
Richard is our 'Mr Versatile' and has an extensive background in marketing and PR, running his own successful business for over 25 years. Richard first studied economics at University, qualified as an interior designer and has lectured at Tertiary level in advertising and marketing. From producing national award winning campaigns in media and also film production, Richard spends his energies these days in keeping ecostudio looking good, writing eco articles and generally looking after the promotion side of things. Richard still has a passion for creating media campaigns and interesting websites.
Thierry - Ecokids advisor, Toy tester, Game tester, Food tester. Thierry was Ecobites inspiration to create the Ecokids category. Realising that there is more to children's lives than just buying plastic toys and feeding them packaged and/or processed foods, we needed an Ecokids category to make it fun for kids to live a sustainable lifestyle. Thierry is a naturally gifted child, who enjoys nothing more than growing his own vegetables and flowers, picking homegrown fruit, reading countless books and the odd hour each day on starfall.com.
Sarah de L. D. - Editor/Consultant
Sarah offers Ecobites a wealth of experience. Not only is she a practising Lawyer, she is also an award winning writer and was involved in creating a major electronic literary publication. Sarah has degrees in Law and History and has long been a champion of indigenous rights, human rights and access to justice.
Elod Gy. - Programmer/Webmaster Elod looks after the day-to-day running of the website. He is currently completing his masters degree in IT. Amanda Patterson- Administration - General day-to-day mundane duties. Amanda one day hopes to move in to the area of webmastering.
