These mixtures will help protect babies and children from being bothered / bitten.Remember, essential oils are poisonous, avoid contact with child's eyes, nose, mouth, hands and genital areas and to keep mixture out of reach of children.

Lotion 1

1/2 cup aloe vera gel

1 tablespoon rose water

4 drops lavender oil

2 drops citronella oil

2  drops neem + tea-tree oil

Place all ingredients in a clean, plastic flip-top bottle and shake well to combine

To use:

Apply a thin film of mixture to baby's exposed skin (take special care to keep clear of baby's hands and sensitive areas such as eyes, nose, mouth and genital areas)

Lotion 2

1/3 cup sweet almond oil

4 drops lemon balm oil

2 drops lavender oil

(prepare and use as above)
