Step 1 : in a small bowl combine 3 tablespoons each of bicarbonate of soda, corn flour and vinegar with 1 1/2 teaspoons of light corn syrup. Wait for the fizzing to subside.Step 2 : Separate the mixture into several small containers or jars with lids. Step 3 : Add 8 drops of different colors of organic natural food coloring to each batch and mix well.
Artificial colors are made up of tar derivatives, long chain hydrocarbons, and other petrochemicals and are of no use to anybody. Medical Studies have shown that some artificial colors have been linked to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) learning problems, Asthma and Hives. Natural Food Colors contain Vegetable and Plant based dyes, look for those that are certified organic.
