Share your favorite smoothie. This one might sound strange but it is yummy and a great way of getting spinach into the body or for kids to eat their greens.

A berry smoothie with raw spinach,it turns a really nasty green color, however you can stuff two or three cups in and not even taste it if you put in enough berries/sweetener etc...

you can use yogurt, tofu, protien powder, etc etc etc...just lots and lots of fruit...

Ive had one made with melon and spinach..it was pretty good...I also like frozen mixed berries and banana and spinach.

Freddy Vegan thanks for the great green smoothie ideas. We are big smoothie consumers, but would have to say have never tried a spincah one. We do have 4 different types of spinach growing in the garden. Will have to give it a go.

We like to use what we have available - frozen mango (our freezer is full of mango, living in the tropics, we keep a supply) banana, sapote (from the tree, for a great chocolate colour), coconut oil(this is a yummy addition, especially with the frozen fruit, it goes hard and very yummy), organic vanilla powder, cinnamon, lemon grass (the leftover from our tea),yogurt. Blend and enjoy, I always freeze one or two (in a popsicle mold) for my litle boy to eat during the day.

Must try adding coconut oil to my breakfast smoothie tomorrow.

We usually just add to the blender what ever we can find, sometimes we come up with some real beauties, like the following...

1/2 cup brewed herb tea (chilled)
1 banana
1 large peach, sliced and pitted
1 tbsp honey
1/2 cup ice cubes

Blend the chilled herb tea with the banana, ice cubes, and peach. Add the honey before the texture is completely smooth.
